Kelas: Momentum (IGCSE)

Minggu lepas ada kelas di pusat tuisyen TUITION PRO U12 Shah Alam (Khas untuk pelajar IGCSE). Topik yang dipelajari adalah momentum. Aktiviti yang dilakukan adalah aktiviti belon, untuk membuktikan formula momentum, p= m x v (Momentum = mass x velocity). Pelajar dibahagikan secara berpasangan. Setiap pasangan akan dapat dua belon dan mereka perlu berbincang untuk memastikan belon mereka menepati kriteria yang diingini. Kriteria 1: Belon naik paling tinggi. Idea-> tambah saiz belon. Kriteria 2: Belon naik paling rendah. Idea-> tambah jisim belon. Malangnya, semua belon tak dapat naik terlampau tinggi kerana masalah teknikan pada kualiti belon. Dan juga separuh belon pecah sebelum mula pertandingan. 😂😂😂 Apapun, saya sendiri kagum dengan idea pelajar yang saya sendiri tak terfikir untuk buat. Semoga kelas kita memberi manfaat. Bukan sahaja untuk skor A*, tetapi dapat lebih menghargai hukum alam. 

Apa itu IGCSE?

IGCSE adalah singkatan kepada International General Certificate of Secondary Education. Cara paling mudah nak faham dan selalu digunakan untuk terangkan IGCSE kepada rakyat Malaysia yang tak tahu apa itu IGCSE adalah, IGCSE ni kalau di Malaysia umpama SPM. Kebanyakan sekolah swasta dan sebahagian MRSM (contoh: Alor Gajah, Kuala Klawang) menyediakan pilihan IGCSE kepada pelajar. 1. Apa beza IGCSE dan GCSE? GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) diambil oleh pelajar di UK, manakala di peringkat antarabangsa luar UK, pelajar boleh menduduki IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education).  2. Siapa yang menyelia IGCSE? Kalau di Malaysia, kita ada Kementerian Pendidikan yang menyelia semua perkara berkaitan pelajaran dan sistem di bawah kerajaan. IGCSE diselia oleh University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). Selain CIE, Edexcel dan OxfordAQA merupakan dua badan peperiksaan lain yang menyelia peperiksaan bertaraf IGCSE....
